This blog came about as part of the Citizen Journalism project spearheaded by journalist and author Anthony Clavane, to aid the creation of a social history archive around the myriad events and happenings at Colchester Arts Centre, a venue housed in a converted Victorian Church in Essex with a mission to champion new, leftfield or experimental work, as well as bringing in some of the better known names across the spectrum of music, comedy, performance and more.
